For those interested in a direct purchase, ShapeScale is available for $9,780. This one-time investment includes the device and lifetime access to our commercial cloud service for up to 250 monthly active users, ensuring you have ongoing support and the capacity to scale as your business grows. The purchase option provides long-term value and ownership of the device, allowing for customization and integration into your business processes.

Both the lease and purchase options come with a commercial license, business user features, and dedicated support from our customer success team. We're committed to helping you leverage ShapeScale's detailed body composition insights to enhance your services and client experience.

Monthly Active Users (MAUs) refer to the number of unique clients who can be scanned with ShapeScale each month. An MAU is counted when a client completes at least one scan within a 30-day period. Our pricing plans include a set number of MAUs, ensuring you have the capacity to serve your clients effectively.

The base lease plan includes 100 MAUs at $199 per month, while the purchase option comes with 250 MAUs. If your business needs additional capacity, we offer flexible MAU extension packages:

Lease customers:
- 101-250 MAUs: +$200/month (Total: $399/month)
- 251-500 MAUs: +$500/month (Total: $699/month)

Purchase customers:
- 251-500 MAUs: +$300/month
- 501-750 MAUs: +$600/month

To help you onboard new clients without immediately affecting your MAU limit, we offer a 7-day grace period for first-time scans. This means new users won't count towards your monthly MAU balance for the first 7 days after their initial scan.

The device features a robotic arm equipped with high-resolution cameras and infrared depth sensors that rotate around you, capturing images and data from every angle in under a minute. This information is then processed and uploaded to the cloud, where ShapeScale's algorithms analyze your body composition, measurements, and shape.

You can access your scan results through the ShapeScale app, which provides a photorealistic 3D avatar of your body. A single ShapeScale scan takes less than a minute to complete. Once the scan is finished, the images and data are processed and uploaded to the cloud. This typically takes 3-8 minutes, depending on your internet connection speed. The ShapeScale app will notify you when your new scan is available for viewing, which is usually within 10 minutes of completing the scan.

To use ShapeScale, you need the following:

• A space of 5' x 5'  for the scanning area.
• A well-lit room with no direct sunlight on or near the device during the scan. Sunlight can interfere with the device’s sensors and affect the accuracy of the scan.
• A regular power outlet for the device’s power supply. The device has a retractable cord that can be plugged into any standard outlet.
• Solid ground for the best experience. The device also comes with carpet feet that can be attached if needed.
• No mirrors directly in front or next to the device within a few feet. Mirrors can reflect the device’s light and cause errors in the scan.
• To ensure accurate measurements, we also recommend users to scan in tight-fitted clothing, such as compression garments, tight-fitted boxer shorts, yoga pants/leggings, and sports bras. Loose or bulky clothing can affect the shape and composition of the body and result in inaccurate readings.

ShapeScale is safe to use for most people. The device uses the following methods to scan the body:

• RGB: This is a standard type of light that captures the color and texture of the body. It is similar to the light used in regular cameras or smartphones.
• Low-power infrared light: This is a harmless type of light that measures the depth and shape of the body. It is similar to the light used in remote controls or night vision cameras.
• ShapeScale does not use any bioelectrical impedance, it is therefore safe to use for pregnant women and those with pacemakers, metal implants, or other medical devices. ShapeScale also does not use any high-energy radiation such as x-ray.
