Challenge Highlights: Top Performing Users & Locations

Ringing in the New Year, we launched our our very first big scale ShapeScale Challenge, aimed at empowering users across all our business and home locations to meet their body composition goals. The dedication of our participants has led to impressive achievements, reflecting significant improvements in overall body metrics as well as individual goals.

Key overall highlights include an average waist circumference reduction of 1.4 inches and a decrease in fat mass by 0.35 lbs among all of our users.

Special recognition goes to our individual leaderboard champions:

• JesseP leaped forward with a 20-point Shape Score increase, losing 6.1 lbs of overall body weight and 6.2 lbs of fat, alongside a 5.2-inch waist reduction.
• LindaA improved their Shape Score by 19 points, adding 9.7 lbs of lean mass while cutting down 7.9 lbs of fat, showcasing remarkable body transformation.
• TakaraF climbed by 16 points in Shape Score, shedding 6.2 lbs overall body weight and sculpting 1.1 lbs of lean mass, with a 3.0-inch reduction in waist circumference.

Additionally, our leading business locations have shown stellar client performance, notably:

• ALX Aesthetics topped with an average Shape Score boost of 2.2 points per client, leading to a cumulative 132-point increase and an average of 4.2 lbs fat loss and 8.7-inch waist reductions.
• APEX Fit saw their clients achieve an average 1.2-point rise in Shape Score and a remarkable total gain of 54 lbs in lean mass across all members.
• Siscoe Gym clients demonstrated resilience with a 0.7-point average Shape Score improvement and a 2.1-inch decrease in waist size.

App Improvements

We’re thrilled to roll out one of our biggest updates yet for the ShapeScale app. This release of the app includes a number of new features and improvements that'll take your experience to the next level:

To make your experience even smoother, we've made some technical tweaks and gotten rid of a few bugs:

• WiFi & Bluetooth Pairing: we have rolled out fixes and improvements that significantly enhanced the stability of the WiFi and Bluetooth pairing process.
• Performance Enhancements: we have also improved our certificate fetching for better security and faster app performance.

Body Composition Analysis Study

Over the last eight months, our comprehensive internal body composition study has yielded exceptional outcomes. We have successfully engaged over 1,000 participants in the study, significantly enhancing the breadth and diversity of our dataset. This expansion has been instrumental in further refining and validating our AI-driven body composition algorithms.

Thanks to the study, our algorithms now boast an impressive 97.6% accuracy in measuring body fat, closely mirroring the results from the gold-standard Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) scans.

Looking forward, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming new, cutting-edge body composition metrics which will roll out in Q2: Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT), Appendicular Lean Mass (ALM), and and BMR (Basal metabolic rate).

Coming Soon

We are working on further updates that will roll out in the coming month:

• PDF Reports: Soon, you'll have the ability to instantly generate and send a PDF report summarizing your clients' scans and measurements with just one click. This allows less tech-savvy clients to fully enjoy ShapeScale benefits without navigating the app.
• Managed Accounts: We're excited to launch the 'Managed Account' feature soon, enabling business accounts to directly create and manage their clients' ShapeScale profiles. This enhancement will streamline operations, allowing to offer a more personalized concierge service with minimal or no client input.

The combination of two new features will allow for the seamless use of ShapeScale with clients who do not have access to an Apple device.

• New Body Composition Metrics: Thanks to the previously mentioned success in our body composition study, we are thrilled to announce the forthcoming launch of three new metrics: Visceral Fat, Lean Mass, and BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate).

Next Production Batch & Limited Inventory

We have started scaling up by expanding our factory team to get ready for our largest production run so far. Manufacturing will kick off in the next few months, with our next batch of units set to arrive by May.
